New Beginnings / The End of an Era

March 24, 2010

Back by popular demand. My apologies for the long hiatus, I got in some trouble about posting about a certain celebrity and decided to call it quits on broadcasting my life to the world... but my loyal fans (mainly my mom) have requested that I continue to blog.

The past month and a half have been crazy huge transition months. I won't go into details but i'm in a whole new place in life ... well not new, just the place I was before things started going downhill in November! Fantasyland (although a slightly less luxurious Fantasyland) has returned to me.

Highlights from the past month and a half:

Valentine's Day: Leigh and I had a heart shaped pancake double date breakfast with Dave and Jordan, the table was BEAUTIFUL with roses and chocolate hearts and pink and red M&Ms and cookies and valentines and champagne and obvi heart shaped pancakes (leigh made choc chip, i made banananananana). Hot Rod: Kyle and I had a Travis Barker drum lessons naptime session while lying on the bench in the store. Dinner: Leigh and I ordered from Birds and watched the Notebook, it was dreamy.

Tony's Black & Gold birthday and garage photoshoot #2. I wore a gold bathing suit. The boys wore matching jackets and plaid shirts and spiderman backpacks. There were cupcakes, (that managed to get squished in the car to resemble a teddy bear) I didn't pig out on them.

Mario. Our Pinkberry boyfriend. Leigh and I befriended a pinkberry servant named Mario after going every other day for two weeks. He gives us crazy amounts of toppings. He also has wonderful co-workers named Jordan and Daisy.

Coconut M&Ms.

C&C California! Caleigh's return. 5 days of insane adventures and shopping and fun and cozyness and pinkberry every day! Canada/USA hockey game & party, ocean water crystal cleansing witchery, palm desert & copious amounts of citrus and mini snickers bars.

The night I did everyone's homework. They had to draft a 2 point perspective room for a set design class, obviously I stepped up to the plate. It got me free pinkberry.

The return of TR and the hilarity that always ensues. Going to a secret Dave Grohl concert, morning walks down to the Oaks where he befriended Miss Seyfried.

The Oscar Party. I hung out with the boys in the backyard and didn't watch a moment of Oscars. I successfully avoided pigging out on cupcakes and smores. It was amazing.

Ali J's visit and our architectural adventure day: Ennis house, visiting the architect he used to work for, a couple other crazy houses, him losing his magnificent sunglasses, Katsuya dinner, late night scaling of the Ennis house gate for a crazyinsane view of the city (and the house).

Jordan's Birthday. Turtle Races (we're almost as boring as they sound). Leigh, TR and I dying of laughter on the way home in the car over anything and everything. Oh... this was the night of the secret Dave Grohl concert. (He's TR's ex-brother-in-law).

Solo adventure day. Did a hike in pacific palisades where there were beautiful views of the ocean and beautiful views of rattlesnakes. Then went onto Zuma for a lovely afternoon of tanning, followed by a malibu canyon road drive home and Virgin Suicides watching with Leigh.

Foot injury - my hiking cankle migrated down to my foot. I can no longer walk in flats, therefore I had to buy myself a cute pair of wedges to facilitate moving into my apartment.

Jess's Birthday - Voyeur. Guest list. Free table & bottle service. I hate clubs.

Unbirthday Tea Party - we went to see Alice in Wonderland (7 went, i was the only one that liked it) and it inspired us to have an unbirthday tea party. Julia was our only guest. Oh, and Sassy, but she's a poodle. But I mad scones for the first time and they were amazing.

Apartment - Got a cute apartment in Beverly Hills, painted it black (two walls), got all white furniture, moved in three days, in heels. Although i still have tons of stuff at leigh and daves...

The Runaways. i want to be a 70's girl rockstar. Leigh, Terrie and I went to see The Runaways at the Los Feliz theatre. Firstly, the theatre was AMAZING. It's TINY, old school and so cute. It actually makes me WANT to go see movies in the theatre! Secondly, for some reason I only now discovered Skylight books, and amazing cute little bookstore. Thirdly, the movie was AMAZING. I'm obsessed with it. If only I could travel back in time and live the life of a 70's girl rockstar just for a week...
