January 26-28

January 26

I'm back. Nana's funeral was so wonderful and so fun - seriously, people were like "this is more like a wedding than a funeral!" Such a fun party, good dessert, good company - especially my beloved American cousins who I never get to see!

I arrived at the airport and Brandon was there to pick me up. He's adorable. He bought me a stuffed dog (but I didn't have the heart to tell him that I hate stuffed animals and would've preferred flowers)! After getting in the car (and him obviously opening my car door for me), he ended up taking me allllll the way to the Brentwood Pinkberry because they're the only one that has green tea! So we got pink, went back to the house, hung out with Leigh, Dave, Jordan & Todd.

Finished my drafting homework in the morning, ate cereal with Leigh, went to class, sat through the LONGEST Residential Design Concepts class... Taylor, Akela, Deeann and I were all going crazy. Then onto sketching which was wayyyyy more fun. We ate pistachios, and I got my homework done in class. Came home, made study notes for my history quiz tomorrow. Brandon picked me up and took me to his fave sushi restaurant on Robertson, he ordered for me (which i love), we had a bunch of amazing things that the chef cooked up for us and I even resisted dessert!

Hollywood sign hike. Almost died while running... apparently not hiking for a week makes you out of shape! Stopped by Brandon's office before school, met the infamous Cody, went to Facebook class aka Autocad... got my homework done for this week and next week... ummm... went to history of architecture, got perfect on the quiz, got out half an hour early, brought Taylor her Starbucks Ginger Molasses cookies (they're discontinued in the states... 1 point for Canada)! Battled traffic en route to M Cafe, got some Kale salad for dinner, and then was pleasantly surprised by Jordan announcing that he was coming over to get his drill. So I made him entertain me for a while, we made blueberry muffins and pondered uses for my sticker collection.
