WestCoastBestCoast: Day 5

Day 5
Wake up. Green cereal. Went for a walk around Lost Lake (by this point I was having a hard time walking b/c my calves were really aching from the rough-terrain mountain climbing)! We wore our trusty His & Hers uggs and were slip-sliding all over the place due to the lack of treads. But we looked pretty damn cute. We then went home to change into tanning attire and headed to the Fairmont to tan by the pool for several glorious hour. Once again felt like a fabulously rich kid, and loved it! After tanning Vera came over, we went to Laura’s to deliver belated birthday presents and cookies, and got ready for our double date dinner. We went to Bearfoot Bistro with Ian and Leah (Ian called shotgun, I called driving), and had an amazing meal which included mojitos, AMAZING tuna, amazing everything pretty much, good wine, a tour of a crazycrazycrazy wine cellar and ice cream made with nitroglycerine right at our table! Ian told the sommelier/ice cream maker that he looked like a witch and it was pretty much the funniest thing EVER. We had discussed a fake “double anniversary” because Ian said they always give you free shit when it’s your anniversary, but we didn’t get any free shit. All we got was “happy anniversary” written in chocolate on our ice cream topping plate. But the boys were sooooooo gentlemanly and paid for our dinner! I love you Rob & Ian!
